I only had a paper painter's mask, so yes, the fumes built up.How difficult was it to breathe and to see when you were spraying? Did you do something to accommodate that the pictures don't show?
I had to step out several times.
Had the heater blowing on the parts, which helped dry each coat in minutes.
When I did step away I'd leave one side of the end open, and it only took a few minutes to change the air.

Here's a picture of primer being dried by the heater.
It took between 10-12 coats of primer, and then 15-20 coats of paint.
I spent over a months just painting.
It wasn't actually planned, but the IP took 3 months to get back from CDD, and since I'd already started I didn't want to stop until done.

Only used three different colors, and only painted one color at a time.
