I love hearing stories like these! I have many of the same stories, because i am running my own fan setup. However I dont want to be the only one experiencing great cooling and the safety and lack of tension that comes from no longer worrying about cooling system temperatures! Keep working those fans and clutches!

Do you know of a way to use a fan indicator light with this? I suppose just take the power to fan signal and splice in, run a wire to a light in the cab? Or with the speed ramp up would that be more complicated?

Also I just want to reiterate how awesome this fan clutch kit is! I recently intercooled my truck, and this thing keeps it cooled off real good. Once again thank you for making these available to all!

Ahh gotcha. Mine sounds like a wind turbine going off when it spins up, and gets very quiet when it disengages. I don't know if a light would work, since it is variable, I'd have to dig up the manual for the controller, if I remember right it does have a few unused connsftions, I wonder if they're for a manual engage switch and a light or something.

Installing mine right now. Haven't put it to the test yet, but all the components are quality made and installation is straight forward. Looking forward to using it
Mine is working great. I no longer have to wait until it gets a little hot for comfort, before the factory clutch locks, IF it even locks. And i've used the manual mode several times on long grades with anticipated heat build up. I can now run without ever getting hotter than 205ish, where it would have reached into the 220's on the same truck before lock up with the factory clutch.
