If only 19.5 rims weren't so expensive...
Vision 81's are on the cheap end. 18" gets you there too. (You only need 2.) Either way is a 33" tire to get 4k# capacity.

With my e350, I specifically didn't want to go start modifying the body or adding overall width going duals.

RV manufacturers and dealers are famous for fibbing about real/wet camper weights and want to make the sale. Watch for tiny disclaimers about "properly equipped", etc.

A 3 ton floor jack couldn't lift the rear of the RV. Had to get a "bottle jack buddy" and use a 12 ton (better to be oversized) bottle jack.

What's fun about mine is it still has the original sales receipt, and manual stating weights with what options and all. Based off of options it should weight wet about 4400lbs, that includes onboard generator, about 400lbs of clothes, gear, full fridge ect, full 44gallon fresh water. Makes me wonder where the additional 3100lbs comes from. I'm sure the super hitch with 48" extension, and combined weight 300lbs bike rack with bikes isn't helping.

Get a front hitch and put those bikes on the front! Ballast, baby!

I'm certainly not qualified to answer but I wish someone could chime in who knows the way to calculate that properly. 300# isn't that heavy but I would love to know what that equals at the axle with 5-6 feet of leverage. Figure the hitch is maybe 2 feet from the axle centerline plus the 4' extension....

Does anyone know what the rim width of a 1988 f250 is? Is it 6"?

It's a cantilever. It has the effect of unloading the front axle slightly, shifting the burden to the rear. A similar up-force is generated 5-6' ahead of the rear axle. On a sudden jounce, the effect is more pronounced.

It's why towtrucks (wheel lift style) often have a weighted front bumper.

Perfect, looks like I need to get a wider rim, at least 7".
Anyone know what years fit? Or what other vehicles cross over?

'92+ E250/350 and 92-97 F250/350.

Edit: these wheels are a staple of mine. Very strong and fit hubcaps. I grab them whenever I see some cheap. They stick out 1" extra; while most modern, wider wheels have gone the other way (inboard).
