So, as I am taking the turbo stuff apart and inspecting and cleaning parts, I am also doing research and preparing for the eventual install. I pulled up the ATS 093 installation instructions off the web, and noticed some differences between the 093 system and the OEM system (besides the downpipe). With the 093 system, ATS only included the driver's side valve cover for relocating the CDR. There is nothing mentioned in the instructions about relocating the GP controller either. Did ATS just leave the GP controller in its original location due to the "shorter" N/A harness? The directions are not very clear, but was there heat shielding provided to go around the GP controller? I ask because I would just as soon leave the GP controller in its original location since I rebuilt the harness in my truck a couple of years ago. The harness on the turbo motor I have is "tired" and would need to be gone through I needed to use it. I certainly would move the controller to the valve cover though if the controller is in the way of the turbo and if the heat would eventually destroy it. Obviously, ATS and Ford had a reason for moving the GP controller out the passengers side valve cover.
