take the column out and reove the covers.unbolt all of the shifter pieces and put the covers back on.you will need to cut the lower bracket on the column where the cable attaches to it.just need to cut off the "u" shaped piece.take the gauge cluster out and there are 2 screws that hold the gear indicator in.take them out and pull the piece out and replace it with one from a standard truck.
