all the vacuum does is actuate the blend doors.
when i do my hydro swaps i use a super duty E-vacuum pump.
works the HVAC like it should, and the pump only runs when when you need it

I was holding off on the 3g alternator upgrade to delete the vacuum pump, but that's going to happen as soon as I get the axles swapped.
There's really no good excuse to not do it.

V belt.
I know the resistance of full 160 amp draw can seize a single V belt pulley on a higher rated alternator.
That said, I believe a smaller 130 amp one will work, and that'll double from stock.

I usually have no issues with a 130 amp 3G alternator and V belts on mine. Unless the belt gets a little bit loose. I was having issues with the belt squealing at higher RPM until I bought a Gates green (or whatever it's called) belt. No issues after that.

One wire Alternator has the regulator built in side it.
I rant 2 6ga wires, one to the battery (+)
and the negative connects to a bolt on the back side
of the Alternator, and runs to the battery Neg (-).

Then deep 6 the fender mounted Ford regulator.
