I know theres been a few threads on the coolant filter installs, but I have an odd question. Im looking at the wix filter head everyone uses and the outflow port sure is tiny, only about .18", not even a quarter of an inch.
My question is, seeing there is plenty meat on the fitting, could I drill this out a bit larger so the heater core can get more flow? Would that cause the filter to not filter very good?
I'm sure the heater would still function with the small hole, but I get cold easy and when it gets cold outside I do love to blast the heat, I want to make sure it'll be able to keep up! Hahaha
