Just to provide a follow up;I did run injector buzz test and cylinder contribution and all passed. Oil pressure was holding nicely, even after a good warm up. I replaced the lift pump as well as all associated fuel hoses. While the fuel filter housing was off the truck, I cleaned the regulator screen (was bad). I also replaced the braided steel fuel lines that connect the two fuel lines in the frame to the lines to the engine (they had started to leak also). The old fuel pump was weeping out of the small hole on the casting. I have not hitched up a trailer yet, but just general driving throttle response is very much improved. Thanks for the help.
