Guys,
I have the chance to possibly buy a 94 f350 dually front axle 4x4 for <200. From what I gather, it is a simple hub swap or modify with the possibility of even using the Dana 50 hubs. Either way, what are your thoughts. This is my daily driver and I have a 2 car garage. I do have the option of using my wifes car if/while I do it.
My hesitation is stuff like linkages, shocks, and driveshaft not working for some reason then I am sorta stuck. All I read is "its a direct swap" but I don't completely believe that.
Not sure of the ratio yet. If its not right I could but gears and still be ahead but then again I have never changed any and dont have the knowledge of how to mesh them properly.
There was also a plow on the truck that I would like to have since the price is good. so the solid is tempting.
opinions welcome.
thanks
