Ive modified it somewhat since these images were taken but this is the gist of it. It *used* to go over the cab when it was on my F250 but when I got the superslug, I fabricated lower profile mounts for the bed and it ended up sitting too low so I decided to flip it around.

I am IMPRESSED...that is a great idea !! I have one of those old plastic toolboxes...that is just sitting on a derelict...now I have a use for it...potentially...I think that I have a jerry can, too...it was for water...
Just LOOK at how he is using that truck, Folks...huge logs and everything...

P.S.S.....Remember when 7-11 used to allow you to get coffee in your own container..? You would bring a Thermos in and fill it for a standard price..?
I wonder what would be the reaction to dragging in a Jerrycan...?

Those captains chairs came with the truck since it was a XLT lariat and I had them reupholstered 3 years ago by a local guy. The cup holders came like that and I just refinished the wood and sealed it to look new .
I wanted the king ranch look and almost bought a totaled truck with the king ranch interior just to scavenge from but couldn’t justify the cost.

Hmm, I see you're one of those "if more is better, then too much should be just about right" types. I'm beginning to understand why you're bereft of cupholders, one the size of a 55 gallon drum won't fit in a standard cab. Perhaps @ISPKI can gift you a spare sequoia that he has bouncing around in the bed of his truck and @Jesus Freak can perform another feat of woodworking wizardry to craft a personalized jerry can/ coffee cupholder out of it?!

Gee Brian, my new $2K truck is almost exactly like yours.
Minus the Running Boards and Bucket seats....but "I" do have the Lund Sunvisor.
Even the stupid C-6 Trans.
But no Cup Holders....
My Wife will ride and or drive anything we have....if it starts.

I actually made my armrest / cupholder combo with maple plywood and turned sleeves of the cut holder slots out of a slab of maple on one of my lathes. Came out OK. need to make new ones a little larger to fit my water bottle.Hmm, I see you're one of those "if more is better, then too much should be just about right" types.
