Well I decided to finally get me some leather Lseat covers for my 40/20/40 factory powered seats. They are still working on them but the navy blue is a pretty close match to whatever this blue was on these seats and matches the crystal blue pretty well.
I'll update when I get them and post some photos of the install. In my research Lseat has been mixed on the reviews but overall positive so I'm pretty stoked!!

Would these factory covers be worth anything? Driver's side bottom and few cig burns that don't go through the fabric is all that's really wrong with them outside of looking old color wise.

Everything is worth something to somebody. Might not be worth much, but there might be somebody (like myself) who really doesn't want "perfection" but would like a little better than what they got on some things. I don't particularly like things when they're too nice.

Seems like a low price of Leather seat covers. Usually leather is pretty pricy.
Maybe a lower quality leather?
The edge of the drivers seat looks pretty beat down, once you get the covers off,
you will probably need to beef up the foam etc....

They will look nice once you are done.

Yeah the price concerned me too but also it's so cheap I don't mind giving it a try. Going by the YouTube videos and reddit posts the quality is better then a lot of low end OEM leather but not as good as the high end leather of bmw/Mercedes and the likes. It is going to be a pebble leather like the 2018 escape titanium we have and once I get them I'll compare them to that.
My driver's side bottom cushion is low on the outside but I actually have another driver side bottom that's not work that I'm gonna swap so I lucked out there as I got that for free from a friend.

Since I probably won't get much demand for the old ones I think I'll probably just store them away incase I get another truck with worse seats.

I'll update this thread when I get them. I'm going to do a thorough review, install from a first time seat upholsterer and comparison to a modern Ford vehicle leather....if it can come close to the quality on the escape I'll be happy

You are right about that, just searched the 2 sites I know of that make the factory perfect
seat covers, $1475.25 for the 2 fronts. and add $300 or so for each seat bottom and seat back if needed.
This is for the MB`s but BMW Jaguar etc.... and not leather.

My 86 has a bench seat. One in it when we bought it back in 2014, was in bad shape, had Duct tape on the drivers side and bottom and back cushion were beat to heck. Had an old blanket I sat on for a while so I could see over the steering wheel...LOL.
Found a better seat out of a F-150 in PNP for $48, with center drop down arm rest with sort of head rest where the seat was a bit higher. Had it redone by a long time Hot Rodder around 80 that had done seats since he was 16. $800 to do it in red voluer p o r n o red. Bit pricy but sure nice. Checked another shop wanted $750, but wasn`t friendly and could care less I was there.

P o r n o ....bad word.

Finally got my Lseat order!!! I went with the navy blue which is a secret option. It's a near perfect match for my crystal blue interior.
I'm not upholstery expert but I am a fashion nut with a bunch of high end clothing from Armani and other European brands and I must say everything seems pretty high quality. It did ship from Texas and was made in Texas at least sewed. The leather is soft, softer then modern f150 lariats and the Ford escape titanium. I can't compare to high end vehicles but for 350$ this is absolutely a steal!!! I can't wait to get these installed.
Will update with an installation process and final install pictures
Honestly came within 3 weeks from Texas that's crazy good turnover time!!

I should have used some upholstery decron but just wanted to get the driver side done asap. Leather should still tighten up some but I'm still love the outcome. The old foam is just not the size it used to be I will be using decron on the other two sides.
This upholstery kit is awesome and I still think I stole it at 370$ shipped from Texas to my house
