And one of the .040 over pistons:

Still a little bummed they took it to .040 over instead of .020 as was the original plan, but I guess if no .020 (or .030) are available anymore, that was the only option...
Rings came already installed on the pistons. So best practice would be to take them off and gap them for the bore they are going into, correct? If so, I'm wondering why they came already installed...
