This is the response I got from the seller after asking to pull some fluid.
“sorry man the fluid was already pulled i don’t have any pictures of it. I can try and get a little for you. I totally get it. i TOTALLY understand as it’s a long drive so i will do everything i can for you and get you...
That’s a good idea I’ll ask. The $2500 guy is firm on 2500
Trying to save cash this year..not let it all go
-one thing I noticed in the photos is what looks like an open inspection plate or something but the slave cylinder? Is that right?
Does anyone have a lead on the short wiring harness...
I found yet another swap kit. He doesn’t have the correct drive shafts for a cclb but he has everything else. 97 Zf5 and it’s been rebuilt at some point based on the tags (seller says) 150k miles and he’s asking $2500 compared to $1500 with driveshafts
But the other seller doesn’t know about...
I’ll tell ya this then..when I do use my truck I usually am towing with it. My enclosed tool trailer weighs about 7,800 lbs, I have plans to tow my tiny house this year..but yeah it’s not driven unless hauling usually.

I was thinking the same thing about the wrecking yard.
Thing is he has the whole set up and my tranny is acting up.
Rebuild or manual swap! Still debating

The only concern I have is he said it came out of a fast 7.3..I then said what do you mean like heavily modified and he said he didn’t really know but that it was a fast truck in town..97 powerstroke
Should I pass?
It’s also been...
Last night I was set on no new projects for awhile and was going to just rebuild my auto..but looking a the cost of a triple disk torque converter made the choice a bit harder.
Looks like billet triple disks are around $1200 alone. I just want minor upgrades for regular towing.
I like the...
Perfect timing for when I checked!
I read about that on the ford truck forums.
One other question..did you guys tear down and rebuild your zf5 or just buy one that someone said was good and put it in?
Hey one more question..do I need to change out my starter? I read a few write ups and they said you have to get a manual starter. But I can’t seem to find one for a manual. I just replaced it with a gear reduction starter and hate to have to swap it out. But I will if needed
