Hi All,
I've been "playing" with a '98 HME 4x4 Pumper with a Cummins M11 Plus 450 hp Celect engine and an Allison HT4050P. Runs great, now taking the tank/utility body off and the pump section off to have a cab and chassis to make into something interesting.
Anyone pulled a Waterous/Central Controlled Pump from a Fire Pumper Truck and replaced the missing drive shaft section?
Looking for the best way to do it - build a carrier bearing mount, extend the shafts, dual yokes, etc...?
Let me know if you have any experience with this conversion.
Thanks!
