Just found out that my buddy’s son is moving. I’ll delete the other thread as soon as I can figure out how but I thought a fresh thread might get more interest.
Thanks in advance for any input.
I bought this as a backup for mine. Looks like it’s out of a pre-1992 as it’s got the rod linkage not the cable shifted linkage. It’s comes with a billet converter, which is the reason I bought it. I’m certain it’s been rebuilt, I will attach the tag from the converter. I assumed if somebody put...
All coupled together, came from a running and driving truck. I bought this to install in my bricknose but now it's for sale.
Pick up in Seattle or I can possibly deliver it to the greater Portland area.
$950 cash
Thanks
Helping out a buddy with a box truck, looking for a spare wheel (ideally two wheels). I know the regular steel wheels are not that common, trying to open my search criteria and look at motorhome and/or E450 van wheels. Can anybody confirm if they are the same between van and trucks? I am...
Good morning and Happy Thursday. Like so many things these days, I am at a crossroad that requires downsizing, and there's just not enough room in my life for two diesel trucks. I really, really like the Centurion that I acquired this past Fall, but the reality is that the PSD just suits my...
Doing a little PM on the Centurion extra-cab and noticed the belts were flopping more than I expected, even after tightening them a bit. RockAuto has some pretty good deals right now on Gates, Dayco and Continental v-belts. I bought two sets of four belts (power steering, vacuum pump...
I sure wish I liked the bullnose trucks more. With a turbo and a ZF, this would be a great IDI tow rig. It sounds like the seller is not that firm on the price too.......

Trying to diagnose this on site here at King of Hammers. Runs ok but gets hot and shuts down after 20 minutes. It’s just short of 4400 hours and it’s on a race trailer that literally always sees lots of dust, so it might just be time for a rebuild. Hoping somebody knows this brand/vintage and...
So I'm new to the diesel specific C6 transmission, and I just realized that the one on my new truck has a cracked tube which is making it shift poorly. I did a search and it appears that as of 2019, these things were pretty scarce. I'd really like to put a factory replacement part on it, but I...
My new to me bullnose is in pretty spectacular condition with a couple exceptions. It was parked under some giant pine trees, and it had a lot of pine needles accumulated in the books and crannies. I managed to get most of them out from behind the windshield trim, but I realized that I needed to...
Passing this along for anybody who needs an oil change for their IDI. I got a 2.5 gallon jug of Mobile Delvac Super 1300 at Wally World for $31.67, which qualifies for a $10 prepaid Visa card. When you sign up online, they give you another $5 Visa card. That's 2.5 gallons for $16.67 plus tax...
This truck deserves an IDI conversion. Single cab dually F350s really are a great looking rig, and being a 1981, you'd have a true "built the unicorn" dually.

Pretty nice, pretty clean Bullnose Centurion F250. Some folks have been pestering me about selling my dually, and this was a pretty neat truck that probably suits my needs better than my PSD. It hasn't been licensed since 2017, and I had to put a starter in it but I drove it home today.
Just after exiting the ferry from Friday Harbor to Anacortes today, my check engine light came on and my truck idled and sounded ok, but I had considerably less power. It really acted like the wastegate was open. I flipped my toggle switch ebpv just to confirm that it wasn’t accidentally...
I'm starting to notice a little bit of pulsation in my rear brakes. I've verified it's the rears as applying the parking brake at slow speeds results in similar pulsations. I've got a little taller rear tires than stock now and it may be that I'm noticing it more now due to the taller tire...
I believe there are two separate flasher relays on the brick nose trucks. Trying to help a buddy troubleshoot his directionals not working over the phone, but I don’t have a brick nose to look at. It a 460 gasser single cab, which probably doesn’t matter but figured I would mention it just in case.
I upgraded my harness to the Super Duty parts, the front side was pretty cooked but the rear was fine. I'm happy to give this to anybody who needs it as I just hate throwing perfectly good stuff away.
Again, I think this is a 1995 to 1997 only part as they changed to single pigtail on the SDs.
Any of you guys on here done this yet? I've got the rear tank out of my truck, I want to put a limited slip in it and it sounds like the factory ford Elocker might be the best way to go in a dually.
Been a while since I set up a ring and pinion, just wondering if there's anything I need to pay...
Doing a search on this will yield contradictory results on rub between rear tires as well as the rub on the front sway bar. After buying some wheels and doing a little measurement, I believe I can shed a little light on this subject.
So it appears that there are two different dually wheels for...
