Driver side front of block glow harness?
Seems like I used one of the temperature senders for the mechanical gauge way back when?

Going by the connector on the end of the wire, my guess is that it's the engine overtemp light. It originally sat in the lower, front part of the driver's side head.

I think yer right.
I am hobbled up enogh for today after cleaning the top end off. Gunna trace out the aftermarket gauge wires and see what it went to.
