DT-466C exhaust brake

Does anyone have an exhaust brake on a C model DT466? Pre 1990-ish. They have a max rated back pressure of 32psi, due to the valve springs. Curious if it's even worth it to install an ex brake with such low allowable back pressure, where other engines have allowable back pressure of 45+ psi.

It's common to upgrade valve springs on diesels for exhaust brake use. Check if stronger ones are available for your engine.
