Yup I do have the Banks up pipes still, so I can use whatever from them. I'd like to use the flange joint for the turbo inlet coupling as i've never had any leak problems there, it's a conventional flange and that can be my disconnect point if necessary. Then i'd like to weld to the slip...
I'm messing with a project with a Banks 1st gen turbo and I am trying to eliminate the ridiculously long and inefficient Banks up pipes (which needed to get redone anyways). I am wanting to use an exhaust Y collector from a factory turbo kit, and fabricate a nice short up-pipe to the Banks...
Needle in a haystack, but thought id try anyways. Looking for a 1st gen non gated Banks turbo pedestal for a manual trans.

Installing comp 910's for the first time on a turboed 6.9. And since the umbrella seals on the exhaust don't fit right with the 910s, I will install them without seals on the exhaust side as I don't want to install the positive seals on the exhaust, in fear of accelerated guide wear.
Following. Did you come up with anything. Im a fan of the umbrella type but as you say, they don't fit well under the Comp 910's. I don't want anything too positive on the exhaust side.
Go electric for a gauge. Buy once, cry once. They do seem to last. And they can really narrow down an issue on the side of the road, or give you some heads up to an upcoming problem. I use Autometer usually for fuel psi gauges.
