Transmission issues- rumble strip & hunting OD

I can see that, but then you'd lose the driveline brake. Unless someone smarter than I am figured out a way to have both.

"Tank" my 91 Crew Cab Dually

No and I had already removed the receiver hitch when I bought the drop bumper from Wes. Now that I think about it, I'm probably wrong in your case. Since you don't have a bed (or body) on your frame, the tank should drop in from the top without any issues. I keep thinking about a whole truck...

I don't know about you guys sometimes. The easiest hitch install that I did, I did it at work about 20 years ago. The boss had a 1/2" air powered drill. I held the hitch in place with vise grips, stuck a 1/2" drill bit in the drill, and used a floor jack to hold the bit against the frame. Then I...

Transmission issues- rumble strip & hunting OD

Yes it will. You'd have to change the torque convertor since the IDIs use 4 studs and the Power Strokes use 6. Or you could have your flex plate drilled for the 6 stud set up. I'm not sure that you can have a 4X4 F Superduty. They use a driveline brake on the back of the transmission instead of...

I would suspect the block heater myself. Technically, those are a 4R100 when they came behind a Power Stroke. I believe that they had all of the upgraded parts that were known to fail in the E4OD.

    THSIM9’s 1991 F250 Project

That's a good use for them. They don't have to keep up with fuel supply and if they die, just replace it. That's why I don't mind using the Carter 4070 on mine for just that. Those also used to be food, but are going down the same path as the Facets from what I've read.

Quote that and bookmark it. Those aren't that fun to install with no hitch there.

So what did you do with your truck today?

What you want to use is 3M Adhesive Remover. I know that it can be bought at a body shop supply store. Probably at an automotive paint store as well. That is if you want to picksome up now and not buy online and wait. They weren't yellow when they were new. I do agree that it's a terrible...

Transmission issues- rumble strip & hunting OD

OD is 4th gear in a E4OD transmission. Yes you can check them. The ODB1 port is under the hood in front of the brake booster and master cylinder. From the factory, they had a cover that was held on by two clips and it was attached to the fender if I remember right.

Might as well. You've got to get that ready to go too.

    DB2 Fuel Intake Thread

That's right although there won't be any benefits to the engine from using a larger fitting on the other side. There won't be any more fuel that's able to move through the pump side of the fitting.

Intermittent crank + start switch Again? + push button

Sure it is. That's easy. Just turn the key to the "on" position and no farther. I agree.

Oh great. Now I have something else to file away in the mental filing cabinet. Pretty soon, there won't be any room left.
