My low vacuum warning switch, aka "tuna can" broke at the plastic barb. Like many others, when looking to replace the part, I found that it is discontinued. I still wanted to have the factory dash "brake" light illuminate with a loss of vacuum. I added a vacuum gage to replace the warning light like many others have done. Now that I found a way to keep the factory warning light operational, I thought that I d post how I fixed the warning switch. The only difference is my light illuminates at 10" (the factory system has a solid state system that actives at 10" after 7 seconds).

I wired the switch NC with the black wire to the common and the dark/light green wire to the NC tab. The switch is adjustable but mine at 10" already.
