I was wondering if there were any veggie oil burners or bio processing folks out there in the central Illinois area? I live in Wenona. I have a BioPro 190 processor. But also have a piece that I believe could handle 500 gal at a time. Any locals that might be interested or have knowledge, I...
I have an ‘89 D250 Cumins w auto transmission and would like to set that cab on a 1990 F450 chassis. Anyone do a similar swap? I would like any and all information and thoughts on this. The F450 has Miller 225 setting in front of a service box so it should be helpful with mounting of...
I have an ‘89 Dodge D250 auto with a 12 valve (motor and tranny are great) and a ‘90 F450 auto IDI (tranny is messing up). I want to put the Cummins in the Ford. I also may have access to a Ford donor truck with a 7.3 IDI and six speed. Question? Making a complete motor/tranny swap? Or mounting...
I’m not sure if this has any relevance but the fuel pickup on my Ford (oem was disintegrated) has a side port thing, some kind if vent maybe. Is there any directional positioning for this? AND... does anyone have a tip or procedure on how to get the sending unit / pick-up back in and procure the...
More of my ramblings... I dislike the Battery setup Ford uses. If the power cable between batteries becomes corroded in anyway, the power delivered from drivers side battery is useless. I make all my own cables up and always run power to starter from both batteries and connect both positive...
I have a 91 f450 that gave me these same problems and am in process of adding a couple check valves and maybe a cheap electric pump. I have a 91 f350 with the pump installed. Have used it like that for a couple years. Have a 89 Dodge Cummins with the cheap pump in it. Saved me several times when...
Sorry, they are not links! I’m not here to advertise. But they are copied and pasted from ads that I purchased from. A search should put you in touch with somebody selling. I just give .6134 cents worth (after taxes)! And look to the true mechanics to assess my ideas with there thought...
I hope I ain’t pissing anybody off. I am not a mechanic. I work on my own old stuff because I was brought up poor. I can usually get by on older. Diesels because they don’t require sophisticated electronic knowledge. I hate making people rich that don’t deserve it. Just call me cheap! I think...
Question? Why couldn’t one put a check valve into the line returning fuel to filter? It would benefit by not allowing fuel to be “sucked” from filter while sitting yet still allow excess fuel to be returned to filter posing less “push” on return to tank lines while running?
I have a $12 electric pump between mechanical pump and filter I turn it on for a couple minutes before I start truck. Don’t seem to matter if its on or off after truck starts.

anyone have knowledge of what RPM works best to remove particulates from WMO? Or is this stupid question? I would think “faster is better” but is there an rpm that works best?
What works best as gaskets material; sealant; adhesive for equipment associated with WVO/ bio processing equipment? I’m intrigued as to what folks have had good luck with and also curious as to what don’t work. I bought a used bio processor and am looking for what to use to make sure it don’t...
