Well, since we're on this kick, I'll share. I learned to weld when I was 15-16 from my oldest brother (11yrs my senior and since passed away) but I refused to buy a welder until a couple years ago because I know that if I had a welder I wouldn't throw stuff away and I'd have a big pile of junk and an excuse to keep it all...... you know the excuse, "all it needs is a bit of weld......" "As soon as I can get a piece of angle, that'll be done and I can sell it for......." "That just needs a patch of steel on the........." But with my bustling mower stuff I had to get one for decks and mufflers. I just got a cheap Ironton Northern tool thing. At some point I'll get a Lincoln 125 like my brother got me going on....... and oh yeah.......I got a pile of junk to weld on now.....
