I agree...although I firmly believe that mechanics...the majority of them, deserve to make a decent living as good or better than those that 'work' in a comfy, climate-controlled, air purified office...the prices on parts seem to me to represent only the fact that you 'gotta have them' in order...- XOLATEM

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?
I was thinking about a possible 7.3 PS swap into my truck recently because a wrecked truck showed up on the radar but now I know definitely NOT... Why would I want to buy a four(six) wheeled aggravating money pit..? Eff that crap...(putting it nicely...) Thanks for turning me back around, guys...- XOLATEM

Anyone swap back to throttle cable?
Hold my beer... Don't tell me that I can't do at least SOMETHING...even if it is just a cable that works a potentiometer that makes a recording of a blown, injected, Top Fuel Hemi making a four second pass down the track...louder in proportion to the throttle opening... DB2 Fuel Intake Thread
That happened to me on a crankshaft...I sent it to be checked and I had previously put it in the block and put the timing chain and sprockets on it to check out the cam phasing...I left the crank sprocket on the crank and handed it over...did not come back. It was a Ford Motorsports timing...- XOLATEM

That is a good tip...might save me a few bucks from buying coffee on the road... I swore off soft drinks...good way to gift yourself with a kidney stone... Do you have 7-11 where you are...? if you do...what do you think of their coffee...?- XOLATEM

Looks like according to the size of the load you shoud be good for a while...sorry....had to say that... On the trailer...does it have a name...? I would name it... 787986F1-2-350 because it was put together from three donor trucks... I feel sorry for the F-350 that is sitting around...- XOLATEM

I read a story about a guy that bought an electronic trash can...the instructions were the first in the can. Cute little thing...I see that someone put in a master disconnect switch and a decent fuel/water seperator...and you have the 'hi output' heater/defroster system...with a bypassed heater core... I am a diesel convert...my '85 is my first diesel...I love it so much that I talk to it sweetly when...- XOLATEM
