That’s a good idea. I’ve already removed the cruise control for the same reason. I snuck the coolant overflow in behind my grille so it’s out of the way. I just need a place for the catch can, coolant filter, vacuum canister, and I need room for the intake still. I’m going to make a custom...- THSIM9

I’m not sure yet. Probably going to make a bracket and mount it on the side of the alternator or something. It doesn’t fit easily anywhere so I’m going to have to get creative.- THSIM9

EGT questions
This is what I have done with my previous setup. (Banks sidewinder, no intercooler, stock ip and injectors) if I drop to 4th or even 3rd and stay at the higher RPMs I see lower EGT’s while pulling grades for sure.- THSIM9

That’s what I’m thinking as well, I’m actually wondering how much of my lack of power previously, particularly while pulling grades was just the facet pump not keeping up. Especially since it was mounted under the hood, and pulling though the stock FSV.- THSIM9

Did some cleanup and painting on the inside of the front fenders, core support, and battery trays. I also plumbed and mounted my old facet pump to work as a transfer pump from the front tank to the new 38 gallon rear tank. Forgot to take good photos today so you will have to take my word for it...- THSIM9

38 gallon tank installed and plumbed through to the engine bay. Belt drive brackets installed, alternator, vacuum pump, and power steering installed. Still need to install the AC compressor. Pressure washed the frame and everything up front, added some new stick on insulation to the firewall, sprayed everything down with a little black VHT and clear coat, and got the engine back in the frame. Hopefully tomorrow will be return lines, injectors lines, turbo, and the belt drive...- THSIM9

Lots of time spent cleaning old dirty parts and getting things painted and ready to go back together. Took the opportunity with the engine out to replace the motor mounts, front leaf springs, and shocks. Now that’s it’s warming up it’s about time to roll the truck outside and pressure...- THSIM9
