Ac newb questions
It has no freon it when I bought the truck 3 years ago, I bought a compressor, dryer and conversion fittings, I was planning on using a red orifice tube and castor oil, still have to flush the system, harbor freight has gauges on sale, and was going to buy their 2 stage vacuum pump.- Kdo58

Ac newb questions
I live in wa. State ac is only needed a few days a year. I plan on traveling and wanted my ac to work. I bought a new accumulator and pulled of the cover caps for a couple of days, and didn't realize this was a mistake. Should I get a new one? Is the orifice under this fitting?- Kdo58

Most redo the fitting, I've seen where a rusted fuel sending unit has a pin hole leak on top of it to cause air intrusion- Kdo58

CDR Valve.
Mine had a lot of blue smoke, I was running 15/40 change to a straight 30 weight diesel oil, made a huge difference, when I can find straight 40 weight I will change to that.i would also check your throttle cable, the new ones tend to be to long, I had to add zip ties for spacers to take up...- Kdo58
