Hey Travis, Used to see you on here and the other boards talking about your Ford. You all Dodge now, or still running a Ford as well? Made the jump Sunday from the 1993 F250 7.3L to the 2006 Megacab 5.9L...very nice! Catch you areound on here.

    Oil drain question

I too did a used Hypermax install without punching the holes for the turbo oil drain; the oil found all sorts of areas to drain out of the turbo. I later put a brand new turbo on, and made sure I punched the holes. No more oil leaks. The Hypermax install instructions aren't the greatest, but...

    Open air filter setup

Great job on the intake. If you had a chance, could you snap a picture or two showing how you set up the CDR and associated plumbing. I am about to go the open air filter route, and need to plumb my CDR. I have a RDT currently, but am getting the stink eye from traffic when at idle. I also...

    E-brake/parking brake help

Thanks guys. I'll take a look at it in the morning. I believe the rear brakes are pretty well adjusted, having replaced the shoes and adjusters about 8 months ago. I will give the cable nut a try; sure couldn't hurt. I'll let you know if it helps. Bill

    E-brake/parking brake help

I was wondering if anybody else out there has trouble with their E-brake holding when applied? I always park with my truck in gear when it is shut down, but the e-brake is nice when you stop for just a moment. I have checked pretty much everything on the system, and can find nothing wrong...

Pulling the hubs on a Ford 10.25" rear end

I pulled mine last summer, and didn't have to have a puller to get the hubs off. A friend that is a mechanic told me he had often had luck getting the hub off by turning the axle around, threading part of the bolts back into the hub (leaving about 1/2" of play) and gently pulling the axle...

    turbo info needed

Both systems will be a vast improvement for your engine. I picked up a used Hypermax system off of Ebay las summer. Huff from TDS helped me out with some great information. He sells Hypermax and Banks, I believe, so he can give you no BS information. He helped me with some parts, as did...

    cruise

Another location you may find the switch is on the frame, on the driver's side of the engine compartment. My truck is a '93 with all electric cruise. In '94 the switch was moved up to the master cylinder.

    Funny RDT story

A few thoughts about this thread: 1. You got lucky getting out of the ticket. 2. To bad she didn't get out of her's, too. 3. Your wife's cousin is very attractive; ah heck, she is hot. :Sly 4. To each his own, but the "goods" as the guys are calling them look very nice in...

    $9.99 Motorcraft glow plugs

Autozone would be the way to go...if we all had an Autozone close by. It is a number of hours away for me, and mail order is sometimes the best way to go. Lucky for those that have them close.

Installing my crankcase breather into the valve cover

I went with the Banks adapter, and am currently running an RDT. Since you have the '93 like I do, you know that you should have a block off plate on the front of the timing cover, since the newer trucks take oil in through a spout at the top of the cover. As long as wou welded slowly, a...

    2002 Dana 50 in a '93?

Thanks everyone for the replies. I was curious about it more than anything. You are starting to see more of the 99+ solid front axles showing up in wrecking yards, and wondered about it. I had forgotten about the difference in wheels. I have a coworker that has a 2001 that I can measure; but...

    2002 Dana 50 in a '93?

Hi all, Does anybody out there know if a Dana 50 front axle from a 2002 (It is a solid front axle) will fit into a '93 F250? I was wondering if the overall alxe width is the same, and if the spring width was close. I am more curious than anything at this point. I saw one for sale...

    hypermax turbo

I agree with Mel; get in touch with Huff. He was very helpful and knowledgeable when I installed a used Hypermax system on my truck. he was able to help me out with parts, and had a bunch of good advice. I really like my Hypermax system. It sure woke my truck up.

    starter...

Looks like what I put on this morning, and what I took off. For a $50 core, I would have it rebuilt, and keep it for a spare; that is my plan. Bill
